Vertical storage capacity.
Most shed and garage storage problems are vertical organization problems. Shelving solves them.

Match shelf material and design to load.
Resin shelving
Garden supplies, seasonal decor, light tools. Won't rust, easy to clean, suitable for humid shed environments.
Wire steel shelving
Paint, motor oil, tool boxes, automotive supplies. Better visibility through open wire shelves.
Heavy-duty steel
Full tool boxes, batteries, equipment. Reinforced frames with 500+ lb per-shelf capacity.
Questions about shelving.
Will it fit my shed?
Most shelving units are 36-48 inches wide and 18-24 inches deep. Check dimensions against shed interior. Multi-unit configurations cover larger walls.
Anchor to the wall?
Recommended for tall units (6 ft+) to prevent tipping. Anchor to wall studs with included bracket if available.
Resin or steel?
Resin for light to medium loads in humid environments (won't rust). Steel for heavier loads and dry environments.
About DuraMax Shelving Racks
Most shed and garage storage problems are vertical organization problems rather than footprint problems. A 100 sq ft shed with 7 ft ceilings has 700 cubic feet of storage space - but if everything sits on the floor, you are only using the bottom 18-24 inches. Shelving captures the rest.
Three shelving categories for different loads. Resin/plastic shelving holds light to medium loads (gardening supplies, seasonal decor, light tools, household items) - quiet, won't rust, easy to clean. Steel wire shelving holds medium loads (paint cans, tool boxes, motor oil, automotive supplies) with better visibility through the shelves. Heavy-duty steel shelving holds heavy loads (full tool boxes, batteries, heavy parts, equipment) with reinforced frames and 500+ lb per-shelf capacity.
Plan shelving installation against the wall opposite the door for best workflow - you walk in, put down what you are carrying, and the shelving is reachable. Leave clearance for the deepest items you plan to store. Most residential garage and shed shelving runs 18-24 inches deep with 4-5 vertical shelves spaced 12-18 inches apart.
