Shipping policy
4. Shipping Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
This Shipping Policy explains how DuraMax BP fulfills, ships, and delivers your order. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
4.1 Free Shipping
DuraMax BP ships free to all 48 contiguous US states on every order. No minimum order, no promo code. Free shipping includes free lift-gate service on freight deliveries.
4.2 Shipping Restrictions
We do not ship via standard checkout to:
- Alaska, Hawaii, US territories
- International destinations
- P.O. Boxes
- APO / FPO military addresses
For Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or international addresses, contact support@duramaxbp.shop for a custom freight quote.
4.3 Custom and Rural Shipping Surcharges
For custom-quoted products, rural delivery addresses, or hard-to-access locations, additional freight charges may apply based on the carrier's quote. We will contact you with the additional charge for confirmation before processing your order. You may cancel the order at no cost if you do not wish to pay the additional charge.
4.4 Order Processing
Most in-stock orders process within 1–2 business days and ship factory-direct from DuraMax's nearest US warehouse. Backorders, custom items, and orders placed on weekends or holidays may take longer to process.
4.5 Transit Time
Standard transit time after shipment is 3–7 business days for most US destinations, depending on the carrier's route and your delivery address.
4.6 Tracking
Tracking information is emailed once the carrier picks up your order. Please allow 24–48 hours after the email for tracking to update on the carrier's website. Contact support@duramaxbp.shop if you have not received tracking within 6 business days of placing your order.
4.7 Large Item Freight Delivery
Sheds, garages, insulated buildings, and other large items ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) motor freight on a 53-foot tractor-trailer. Standard freight delivery includes:
- Curbside drop-off: the carrier delivers to the curb at the delivery address.
- Free lift-gate service: the driver uses a hydraulic lift to lower your pallet from the truck to the ground.
The carrier is not responsible for bringing merchandise into your home, garage, or yard, uncrating, or removing packing materials.
4.8 Delivery Appointments
LTL carriers typically call to schedule a delivery appointment, but they are not required to do so. Customers should monitor tracking notifications and respond promptly to carrier contact attempts. If you miss a scheduled delivery, redelivery fees or storage fees may apply, payable by the customer.
4.9 Delivery Accessibility
Customers must disclose any delivery restrictions prior to placing an order, including but not limited to:
- Dirt or gravel roads
- Low-clearance bridges or wires
- Weight-restricted bridges or roads
- Gated communities
- Ferry-only access
- Single-lane or dead-end roads
DuraMax BP is not responsible for shipping costs incurred due to undisclosed accessibility issues. Any shipping or redelivery costs resulting from inaccessible delivery will be deducted from any refund issued.
4.10 Address Changes
Address changes requested after the order has shipped may incur reconsignment fees charged by the carrier. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.
4.11 Damage Inspection Requirements
You must inspect both the package and the contents within 48 hours of delivery. After this 48-hour window, all rights to make shipping damage claims are waived, and any replacement parts or shipping costs become the customer's responsibility.
At the time of delivery:
- Inspect the box and pallet for visible damage.
- For significant damage (large holes, crushed corners, signs of opening), refuse delivery unless instructed otherwise by DuraMax BP.
- For minor damage, note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing, have the driver acknowledge in writing, take photos, and inspect contents on the spot if possible.
Within 48 hours of delivery:
- Fully unpack and inspect all contents.
- Report any damage with clear photos to support@duramaxbp.shop or call (877) 658-6569.
Shipping damage is not covered under the manufacturer's product warranty. It is handled exclusively under this 48-hour freight inspection process.
4.12 Replacement Parts
Missing or defective parts must be reported within 2 days of delivery with photo documentation. Within this window, replacement parts are shipped free of charge. Requests submitted after 2 days may incur part and shipping costs.
4.13 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the customer at the moment of tender by the carrier at the delivery address.
