About DuraMax Restaurant Kitchen Panels

Commercial restaurant kitchens face the strictest wall-surface requirements of any commercial application. Health code typically requires non-porous, non-absorbent, easy-to-clean wall surfaces in all food-contact and prep zones. Tile has historically been the standard but tile grout absorbs grease and bacteria over time. FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) panels are an alternative but have visible texture that traps grease. PVC panels are the cleaner alternative.

Three real advantages over tile and FRP. First, the non-porous PVC surface does not absorb grease, bacteria, or moisture. Wipe-down cleaning achieves what scrubbing achieves on tile grout. Second, no grout lines means no grout maintenance and no grout replacement cycle. Third, hose-down cleaning is faster and more effective than tile cleaning for end-of-day deep cleaning.

PVC panels meet FDA and USDA standards for food-contact wall surfaces and pass typical health department inspections. Used in commercial restaurant kitchens, food prep facilities, commercial bakeries, walk-in coolers, butcher shops, and grocery store kitchens. Same panels work across all these applications.
