Duramax Wall Panels is a water-resistant wall and ceiling panel that is used for wet environments, cleanrooms, and areas that require hygiene. As an affordable alternative to Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) panels, it eliminates the need for Oriented String Board (OSB) backing panels. No time-consuming and messy gluing, no need for a second person to help with handling, and no need to ever replace the panels. Duramax panels require half the labor cost and half the material, giving you a competitive edge.
Wherever you need a wall or ceiling panel that is easy to clean and abuse-resistant, DURAMAX PVC Interlocking Liner Panel is the answer.
Designed to meet the needs of demanding applications, these panels exceed modern hygienic construction and statutory building codes.
The panel’s corrosion-resistant surface is highly durable and resistant to scratches, moisture, and most chemicals. Lightweight and easy to work with, DURAMAX PVC Panels requires no special training or tools to install. The tongue-and-groove interlocking system makes quick work of vertical and horizontal installations.
In applications such as car washes or truck washes, DURAMAX's reflective, white finish will brighten the building's interior and optimize the effects of artificial lighting. Since the panels never need to be painted, maintenance costs are reduced considerably. This extremely durable panel will hold up to years of abuse in vehicle wash or agricultural environments.
Build an efficient and quality indoor grow room with Duramax reflective wall panels. The bright white surface bounces light back to plants from a wide range of angles, producing bigger yields without increasing energy consumption. Duramax™ panels have been approved for use as an interior plastic veneer in accordance with Section 2605 of the Los Angeles City Building Code.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you need a sealant or caulking to seal panels?
A: DuraMax tongue and groove system keeps water from going in between the panels, but we suggest using pure (off-white/clear) silicone in between panels and around trim pieces on projects where there is heavy moisture.
Q: What color or texture options do you carry?
A: Currently, we only carry matte white with a smooth finish. We are capable of manufacturing gray or tan panels for orders of 10k square feet or more.
Q: Do the panels have any insulation value?
A: DuraMax panels do not have any significant insulation value. Insulation behind the panels are recommended when trying to control the temperature of the environment.
Q: How much do Duramax PVC panels weigh?
A: DuraMax panels are a pound per foot (8' = 8 lbs), which makes them extremely lightweight and easy to work with.
Q: Can I cut Duramax PVC panels to size?
A: DuraMax panels are really easy to cut and work with, most projects require some cutting of the panels. We recommend using a fine tooth blade in reverse.
Q: Can I paint Duramax PVC panels?
A: There are PVC paint lines that support this application.
Q: What sizes do these panels come in
A: DuraMax panels come in 8 ft, 10 ft, 12 ft, 16 ft and 20ft.
Q: How do they compare to FRP Panels?
A: Vinyl Wall Paneling is a more popular choice for commercial kitchens because they do not peel and last a lifetime than FRP.
Q: Can I attach Duramax PVC panels to the wall using adhesive?
A: DuraMax panels are made from virgin PVC, they are susceptible to expanding and contracting according to the temperature. Using adhesive would not allow the panels to shift which could cause the panels to crack and fail. We strongly recommend only using fasteners that are screwed into the middle of the nail flange hole to allow expansion or contraction.
Q: Can Duramax PVC panels be installed directly onto the studs?
A: Yes, Duramax PVC panels have a class A fire grade which allows them to go directly onto the stud without issues.
Q: Can Duramax PVC panels be installed over drywall/brick/concrete/FRP?
A: Yes, Duramax PVC panels just need to be fastened to any framing or wall with pancake head fasteners screwed into the middle of the nail flange hole to allow for expansion and contraction. Horizontal furring strapping is common when installing over concrete or brick.
Q: Do you need horizontal framing to install?
A: Horizontal framing is only needed when the studs aren't 16" on center, or if the distance between studs is not consistent. Max span between fasteners when doing horizontal framing is 24".
Q: Can I install Duramax PVC panels in a shower or RV?
A: Duramax PVC panels just need framing to attach to, they are great for any high-moisture environment or space where sanitation is important.
Q: How do I install Duramax PVC on a ceiling?
A: DuraMax panels double as a ceiling replacement. The H divider trim piece combines the panel's lengths to help span across longer lengths. Just like with walls, the max span between fasteners should be no more than 24". Horizontal strapping is not necessary unless needed.
Q: Can I install wallpaper over your PVC panels?
A: Yes, you may provided you use an adhesive that is for plastics or PVC.
Q: When would I receive my order if I place an order today?
A: We ask for 5 business days to ship out most orders, plus freight time to the job site. The Eastern States average a little over two weeks.
Q: Can I hang shelving or cabinets on your PVC panels?
A: When hanging objects on our panels, treat it as you would drywall. For a more secure attachment, use the wall studs as attachment points. Otherwise, use appropriate fasteners that can carry the load.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood
Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
