Occasional (few times/year): 10x10 or 13x10 works well. Regular guests (monthly or extended visits): 16x10 minimum, 19x10 more comfortable. True casita / rental: 23x10 or BOSS Tiny House.
Can I add a bathroom?
Yes in the larger sizes (16x10 and up). Plan plumbing rough-in through the slab before pouring concrete. Small bathroom (3x6 or 4x5 ft) fits within the larger building footprints. Add appropriate venting and required permits.
Permits for guest house use?
